Sufi Bawra is an International Sufi Singer and his singing style is Sufiana Kalam, Muslim Devotional like Shan-e-Shahbaz Kalandar, Urdu and Farsi Kalam-e-Ameer Khusrao. Punjab Devotional Sufi Kalam like Baba Bulle Shah, Sufi Nirgun, Sikh Devotional Shabad and Patriotic Songs performance. He has travelled worldwide and all over India and has entertained his audience while rendering his Sufiana program. Passion for music was because of his mother who was a devotee and Guru Dharan disciple of Kabir Panth Gharana.

Sufi Bawra is a professional singer who was fortunate to learn Hindustani classical music from Pandit Vinaya Chandra Maudgalya and Pandit Vasant Thakkar. He is being inspired by some of the legends in classical music like Pandit Kumar Gandharva and Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki where as in Sufi Music like Shankar Shambhu Qawwal, Ustad Habeeb Painter and Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

He has experience as Classical Music Teacher of 21 years in Gandharva Mahavidyalaya New Delhi, 5 years in American Study Delhi, 6 years Nepali student in Delhi (time to time visited in Nepal for Music workshop and also Indian classical Music school has opened under guidance of Sufi Bawra), 2 years in Afghanistan as Music Teacher cum Performer sponsored by ICCR.

Sufi Bawra is honoured as the first artist who represented India to promote Indian Classical Music in Afghanistan. Indian Culture Centre was opened after his presence and he is first artist who performed with Afghani Students.

It was first time in the history of Afghanistan, when ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ was celebrated on 2nd October, 2007 under the guidance of Sufi Bawra, who presented ‘Vaishnav Jana To’ and ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ each tradition eliciting tremendous applause from the gathering in the auditorium of 103 years old HABIBIA SCHOOL. It was a great honour for Sufi Bawra that he was appreciated by Indian Ambassador, Rakesh Sood and President of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai.
