Ram Prasad Sharma- Traditional Bhawai Dancer And Kachi Ghodi Folk Dancer

Ram Prasad Sharma comes from a small village in Rajasthan called as Newai Village. He practises the traditional folk dance of Kachi Ghodi in which he wears the horse colourful costumes around his waist and dances during wedding ceremony and cultural events. According to Ram Prasad Sharma this dance is performed by men from Rajasthan and wears a turban during their performance.

Ram Prasad have learned this art form from his father Bansi Lal Sharma during his childhood when he accompanied his father at various events. He has also learned the Bhawai dance and now has become expert in Bhawai Dance which is an art of balancing. This requires complete focus and concentration. Ram Prasad have participated in most of the prestigious cultural events of India.
