Peeru Khan is a traditional folk singer from a small village named Sonu in Jaisalmer. He was born in a family of musicians and due to the musical atmosphere at home he started singing when he was hardly eight years old. He was trained under guidance of his father and grandfather.

They are the hereditary communities Of Muslim musician and pass on their traditional talent to their next generation this how they have maintained to preserve the Indian Heritage. Peeru Khan along with his troupe have performed in Tokyo at Namaste India Festival and have also performed at various cultural function in India.
