GORKHA RAM, REKHA RAM AND BHAGVANA RAM BLACKSMITH are the India’s oldest manufacturer of morchang which is a metallic musical instrument. The ancestors of Gorkha Ram belong to the Gadiya community – The blacksmith which made iron tools, their forefathers have been involved in making the musical instrument for many centuries.

Gorkha Ram has more than 45 years of experience in making mouth harp. The sound and design of morchang of brass and iron made by Master Gorkha Ram are very effective. The best morchang in India are made by Gorkha Ram and Rekharam family. The unique design of their morchang produces effective sound. Bhagvana Ram is the next generation who is working hard to preserve this ancient art of making special Morchang.
