Nilambar Dewangan is a talented National award winning artisan from the Dewangan community in Chandrapur region of Chhattisgarh state. Nilambar believes that cloth weaving is almost as ancient as the early civilization itself.
Apart from beautiful Kosa silk sarees he also handcrafts designer scarf, stole and duppattas, it is available in many colours.
The legacy of weaving Kosa Silk is passed on through generations. Kosa silk is widely popular owing to its purity, sturdiness and soft texture.
Brilliant master weaver Nilambar says that finished product is dyed using natural dyes from the flowers.
