Jutha Khan is a traditional folk artist whose father was renowned folk musician. As a child he learned how to play Khamaycha from his father Jeta Khan Manganiyar. The Khamaycha , is one of the oldest bowed musical instruments of the world and is found across the globe with several regional variations. Khamaycha is the instrument which is played by the Manganiyar community of Rajasthan.The sweet music of Khamaycha literally creates magic for the listeners. Jutha Khan says he is lucky to learn the skill of making Khamaycha in his family. Jutha Khan said that it is mainly made by wood of Mango tree. He is one of the few members in the Manganiyar who makes handmade Khamaycha.
