Profile of Artist:

Well known Lithographer Sushanta Guha was born and brought up in Gaya (Bihar).As an art lover he completed post diploma in fine arts specelization in graphic art, printmaking mediums from Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan after his 5 years diploma in fine arts and crafts from Kala Bhavan, Santiniketan.

Later in the year 1998 he went to London for Advanced research in printmaking including six months training at Camber well College of arts and crafts which was totally funded by" Charles Wallace India trust" UK.

Sushanta’s thirst for knowledge and the inquisitiveness about printmaking took him to USA in the year 2003 and did Professional training in non-toxic printmaking at Manhattan Graphic center, New York. (Funded by, the "Full bright India education foundation" USA.)

Sushanta Guha has participated in many national and international exhibitions to name a few in the year 1994 he took part in the International Gallery of contemporary Printmaking, Philadelphia, U.S.A

Later in the year 1996 Sushanta was invited to send works in Asian Print art festival at Pusan city, Korea. He has also conducted different workshops in India and abroad related to Lithography.

Now he has his own studio in Greater Noida (Knowledge Park 2, Kala Dham) named as ATELIER # 12 where all young aspiring artists are welcome to learn the nuances of lithography.
