Lac Bangles profession is one of the ancient and most remarkable crafts of India which is more popular in Rajasthan. Chand Mohd. is among the finest craftsman in making Lac bangles. He comes from a traditional family that craft beautiful bangles especially for marriage and festive occasion.

Chand Mohd. picked up this skill from his father Haji Shakur Maniyar. Later Liyakat Ali son of Chand Mohd is carrying forward the rich legacy of this traditional craft. Liyakat Ali belongs to Maniyar community that make lac bangles and jewellery. Liyakat is also working hard in reviving this craft by making trendy colourful bands, jewellery and decorative items. Liyakat Ali told us that because of the challenges the younger generation does want pursue this craft. Any ways on the other hand Liyakat and his father are working hard to revive this art and keep this craft alive.
