Sampriya Pooja is a young talented artist from Chattisgarh who sings Pandavani in its own unique style.Pandavani is a typical folk style of singing and telling stories from our ancient, epic Mahabharat to educate the masses by their acting and entertaining style. Sampriya at tender age was inspired by her mother Gauri Bai and Internationally acclaimed artist Santosh Nishad ji.
She started singing when she was hardly seven years old. She stopped her studies after completing 12th standard but started learning Pandavni by the legendary gurus like Padmashi Ram Nishaad , Padmi Shri Govindram Nirmalkar and Padma Bhushan Dr.Teejan Bai.
Sampriya quite often performs in All India Radio and National Television of Raipur. At very young age Sampriya Pooja is invited to sing Pandavni in different parts of India and is getting appreciation all over for her unique folk style of singing.
