Ranjeet Singh is a versatile writer, he has written famous bhajan, Ghazal, qawwali , variety of songs that are sung by reputed singers.

Initially Ranjeet Singh was working in an Insurance Company and started writing poetry during his free time. Later he began writing poetries as his hobby that started getting published in famous magazines. He mainly writes in Hindi and Urdu.

Hobby of Ranjeet Singh one day turned into a profession. Soon he started his full fledged carrier in creative writing and his poetries; especially his shayari was being appreciated. Now Ranjeet Singh “Aftab” is retired from his job but he will never retire from his creative writing, he continues enjoys his creative writing work.
