Pradeep Srivastava and “Raunaq Kanpuri”are synonym we can call him Pradeep ji when we as audience enjoy his musical event and address him as “Raunak Kanpuri” when one reads his heart touching Urdu poetry. The never quitting spirit nature, hard work and 30 years of singing have made him a leading name in Ghazal Singing.

By profession Pradeep Srivastava was an administrative officer in Income Tax department in Kanpur city. He took a voluntary retirement from his post to pursue his passion in musical world.

He always wanted to become a singer, he wanted people to enjoy his music and move and groove on the same.

He has no professional training in singing but his inclination towards music and blessings of his spiritual Guru has now made him one of the most popular voices in Ghazal singing of India.
