Nem Chand is a great terracotta artist. He is very special because he has lost his eye sight completely; in spite of this disability he has not lost his dedication towards his craft. He belongs to potter family where art is being transferred from one generation to another.

Nem Chand learned the pot making from his father Hukum Chand. The variety of terracotta pots made by Nem Chand are not only beautiful but have very sharp and neat finishing in his products made by him.

In spite of being blind Nem Chand enjoys making terracotta pots on wheel without anybody’s help.He intends to teach this art to others who are visually impaired. Nem Chand and his complete family along with his children are engaged in making of terracotta pots.
