Heeralal Dewangan, is a master weaver of tussar silk weaving from Champa Chhattisgarh. He comes from a traditional family of weavers and is proud to carry forward the legacy of his forefathers.

His designs are traditional yet have a contemporary touch to cater to the changing tastes of customers. The Vibrant tiranga sarees is quite popular. Heeralal was honoured by State Award in the year 2014 for his beautiful craft of weaving on Kosa Tussar Silk.

Today Kosa Tussar silk is manufactured in cities like Raipur and Champa especially produced in a traditional way, mainly by Dewangan tribe.

Kosa tussar silk is popular worldwide for its soft texture and purity, this version of kosa silk is produced exclusively in Chhattisgarh. Many local weavers are working under Heeralal Dewangan and produce Champa Silk Saree and Fabrics Of Chhattisgarh.
