Mohd. Dilshad is a mastercraft man in wood carving.Dilshad won the prestigious National Award in the year 1997 by hon'ble prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his master creation on wood. As a child Dilshad toys were tools of woodcarving and he used to do carving on waste wooden blocks.The immense interest in wood carving was noticed by his father and grandfather who are masters in wood craft, Initially Dilshad father gave him the training on wood carving.Dilshad has travelled globally to participate in handicrafts exhibition and to give the demonstration of his unique and magnificent art work.
